In April 2004 Quest Project Manager, Mike and I had moved to Doha and set up the Quest office

Our Race Manager Kels moved to Doha and helped set up the office along with Kate and Gregor who ran the Education Programme.  Mugsy who wrote the copy for the website flew in and out of Doha.  Salima joined as receptionist and secretary to the team.

Our families joined us in in the summer of 2004 and Mike and I have to get our residents permits so that our children can register for school in Doha.  It is a huge move for my daughter and I but an even bigger moe for Mike, his wife and their three children.  It was  ahuge leap of faith for all of us but we felt that to run the event properly, we had to be there.
